Sneak Peak: Roman Goddess

October•31•2010|My Guinea Pig.... Once again!

My little sister Nicky asked me, "What should I be for Halloween?"

I said I had no idea, so we went thrift store shopping and I found this Roman Goddess dress {as soon as we walked in} and said " GET THAT". It was tiny and her size and fit her perfectly. She wore it around the store looking for a "better" option but in the end... went with my idea! We messed around with some ideas and pretty much thought she was perfect for this.

I wanted her to look absolutely beautiful and indeed she did. I did her make up, hair and got her ready... pretty much did it all accept the hemming up the sides of her dress! My sister lets me use her as my experimental dress up doll and I am so grateful to have such a beautiful sister who is such an awesome sport to my wild imagination!

Together we make Magic! 

Happy Cupcake Baking {♥}

Today is Monday and it's my day off.

I decided to get festive with my baking skills and put them to the test. I pretty much used boxed cake mix because I'm not too good about cakes from scratch. However, I did make the frosting from scratch and it came OK for my first time making Butter cream frosting.

Eli + Eli {Motherly Love}

This is Elisa and her most prized possession Elijah. {Eli+Eli}

Like two peas in a pod, this mother and son duo are a joy to watch. They run, they laugh, they joke, they kiss and most of all… they love! If you have never seen a bond like this, you don’t know what your missing.

Elijah loves to jump on his mothers shoulders and ride into the wind. Elisa has such a positive prospective with it comes to sharing time with her son and it’s not only beautiful… it’s breathtaking.

The apple farm was great but too bad it was occupied by a wedding ceremony. Tip toeing around the vicinity, we only got a few good shots. Off to the Sycamore Gardens we went. This is where Elijah really let lose and showed his true colors. His love for his mother is pure and hers in return is the same.

These two know how to have fun & talk about L♥VE!! These two go wild in the presence of eachother and sure do make eachother happy. It was really my pleasure photographing them two and really put a smile on my face.

New Blogging Obsession- ♥

OK.. So here goes. Today October 21st 2010, I have decided to start blogging my work. So many photographers out there do it and I wondered what the big deal was? Well, now I realize!

For me, it's such a pain because I can not add every single shoot to my website, and update my potential clients with recent shoots or sneak peaks to my clients waiting on photos. This gives me that leeway to do so and still offer my friends, family and clients another way to view my newest work. I really had no idea why so many photogs did this! Now I do!

Of course, as of today, what you see is a quick glimpse and rough draft as I am sampling my thoughts. Being a Gemini of course, I am so indecisive when it comes to things like this. By next week, I will have probably changed my mind 5 more times.

Today gives me a new advantaged to the photo world, by letting you all see my new work, random thoughts, or just something that goes on in my daily life... will help you better choose if I am the right photographer for you.
